We Plant for the Future

Sulaiman Plantation has a fascinating history that dates back to 2004 when Tuan Syed Sulaiman Bin Syed Hassan embarked on a pioneering venture to cultivate pandan coconuts commercially. The plantation started with 305 trees on 1.2 hectares of land, a significant step in establishing one of Malaysia's first mini-estate commercial coconut farms.

After eight years of dedicated care, the coconut trees finally bore fruit, earning the prestigious Best Pandan Coconut Planting Award at the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Expo (MAHA) in 2012.

In 2014, the plantation obtained the Malaysian Good Agricultural Practice (MyGAP) certification for its coconut cultivation methods. Today, the plantation has expanded to 330 coconut trees, all 16 years old and still producing fruit.

Managed commercially by Tuan Syed Sulaiman's son, the plantation is focused on further expanding coconut cultivation to meet the growing demand in local and international markets.
